I also love the challenge of backpacking and hiking through rugged wilderness areas, taking in the sights and sounds of nature. Interestingly, this passion for the great outdoors has also led me to volunteer with my local search and rescue team. Additionally, I greatly enjoy sharing my wilderness skills and knowledge with the next generation, teaching classes on topics like outdoor survival, navigation, and wildlife identification to kids and women.
